The Balbriggan Summerfest for 2009 cost in excess of €23,000 to run. The majority of this money was raised by holding fundraising events which, you the people of Balbriggan, very kindly attended and generously supported!

We would like to take this opportunity to thanks everyone who supported us for the 2009 festival!

We are starting off the 2010 Fundraising Campaign with a Pitch & Putt Competition - details below!

Whether you are a complete beginner or fancy yourself as a bit of a pro, this competition will have something for everyone to enjoy! All proceeds raised will be going towards the running of the Balbriggan SummerFest 2010, members of the committee will be there on the day to make sure the competition runs smoothly and to ensure everyone enjoys themselves to the full!

We will be having a 'shotgun' start i.e. everyone will be teeing off at the same time - Team One tee off at Hole One…Team Two…at Hole Two etc..this way everyone finishes roughly at the same time.

You have an option of entering a team of 4 or if you need to make up a team, there will be a lot of people arriving on their own who we can team you up with.

Rules:

• Maximum 4 to a team.
• Maximum 18 teams.
• Clubs will not be provided.
• Flat shoes must be worn by all.

Along with the Annual Turning on of the Christmas Lights on Balbriggan square, we will have the great pleasure of listening to our favourite Christmas carols and there may be some special guests coming along to shake hands with all the boys and girls! Don't forget to wrap up warmly!
