Opening Parade
All those participating in parade should meet at Church Car Park at 6.30pm.
Route of Parade: Church Car Park, through the Main Street, turning up Clonard Street, down Chapel Street, back up Main Street and returning to St. Georges Square. Traffic diversions will be in place.

The parade promises to be a spectacular event showcasing all the local clubs, groups and businesses we are fortunate to have in our town. You will be entertained by a variety of characters like Scooby Doo, Barney, Tiger and Spongebob and much more! Live Music till 10pm by local band Gizmo.

8:00pm Oficial Opening of Festival by Celebrity
Be there early to ensure you meet our mystery Celebrity!
Presentation of prizes for our School Art Competion, Credit Union Photo Competition and the Breege Tuite Memorial Trophy Short Story Competition.
8:30pmBarman’s Race
Watch the local barmen take part in our annual barman’s race. Who can make it to the finish line without spilling all their drink?
8:30pm Balbriggan Open Darts Competition
Venue: White Hart Lounge, €10 entry fee.
9:00pm Live Music by Rattle and Hum (U2 Tribute)
Venue: Harbour Knights.

Saturday , 26-Jun-10: Venue: Beach/Quay Street Carpark
10:00am Children’s Sandcastle Competition Sponsored by KT Designs
Registration from 9.30am on Front Beach.
You must register in your category before building your sandcastle. Assemble at Front Beach and a committee member will be there to meet you. So come on get out your buckets and spades and win some super prizes!
2:00pm Family Fun Day and Livestage 2010 Venue: Quay Street Carpark
Fun for all the family! Local bands will entertain you with live music all day. Activities for the kids include bouncy castles, go-karts and much more!
3:00pm

Duck Derby Sponsored by Mobile Media Store
First race starts at Quay St. Carpark and ends at the harbour. First duck to the net is the winner. Amazing cash prizes for top 5 ducks! Ducks for sale, €2.50 each in Mobile Media Store, Drogheda St. Balbriggan.

Second race is a special Commemorative Duck Derby to mark the Balbriggan Town Council 150 year anniversary celebrations. Each duck is named after a past or present Town Councillor. Money raised will go to local charities.

8:30pm Grand Finale of “Balbriggan’s Got Talent” at the Bracken Court Hotel
Come along and support the .nalists from the audition stages. They need your support as the public decide on the winning 3 acts! Tickets €10 available from Bracken Court Hotel!

11:00pm 5k Fun Run
This year’s 5k run is by registration fee of €10. All are welcome to take part as this is in aid of some very worthy local charities. Visit our homepage to register and familiarise yourself with this year’s route.
12:00pm Pet Show - Sponsored by The Pet Shop and The Doggy Man
Venue: Quay Street Carpark
Application forms are available from The Pet Shop, The Vets, The Library and The Summerfest Outlet. So come along and bring your pets! Great prizes for the winners!
1:30pm Blessings of the Boats by Fr. Eugene Taaffe
Sponsor a balloon in aid of The RNLI. Balloons €1 each. Balloons will be released in remembrance of all loved ones who have passed. Balloon tickets will be available in the Summerfest Outlet.

More fun for all the family! Live music by local bands including the Balbriggan’s Got Talent Finalists live on stage! There will be carnival side shows, bonny baby and glamorous granny competitions. Local groups will be showcasing their talents, Irish Dancing, Ballet and Boy Scouts. Lots of surprises in store and lots of characters to meet! So come along and join in the fun!
